Ways You Can Continue to Pray for Hope Haven of East Texas
1. THAT BOARD AND STAFF WILL RECOGNIZE GOD AS THE OWNER OF THIS MINISTRY AND BUIDLING
“The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,” (Psalm 24:1)
Pray that as we open the doors of this shelter, we will recognize that God owns Danielle’s Home of Hope. Pray leadership will run this ministry in a way that glorifies God. Ask for God to give Hope Haven the grace to be a good steward and to use the resources that have been committed to us for good.
2. THAT GOD WILL HELP HOPE HAVEN OF EAST TEXAS TO BE FAITHFUL TO HIS WORD
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14)
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:2)
Pray that we won’t compromise our faith in any way and that biblical principles will be the foundation of this ministry. Pray that our light will shine bright, and people will be drawn to it. Pray we will stay faithful even through difficult times and not bring reproach to the name of Jesus.
3. ASK GOD FOR WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING
“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” (Proverbs 24:3-4)
Ask God to help leadership and staff make the right decisions and help us discern evil from good so we can make decisions that lead only to healing and success. Ask the Lord to direct our steps at every turn so that we may bless all of the children who live here.
4. ASK FOR FINANCIAL BLESSINGS
“But remember that it is the LORD your God who gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to confirm His covenant that He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 8:18)
Pray that God will stir the hearts of people in the community to give to the ministry of Hope Haven of East Texas. Ask God to provide all that we need to fulfill our mission by providing a safe home environment, ministering the love of Christ, and equipping neglected and abused girls in foster care.
5. THAT GOD’S WILL BE DONE WITHIN THESE WALLS AND WITHIN THIS ORGANIZATION
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)
Pray that God will receive all the glory for every life changed, every need met, every heart healed.
