Why We Pray

We find intimacy with God through communicating with Him in prayer. We go to Him in faith, knowing that He hears and answers all our prayers (1 John 5:14). Be confident that God knows and wants what is best for us. Ask that His will be done in all we seek from Him. Then, thank Him for it, even though it hasn’t happened yet.

Prayer Needs:

  • For each girl in our programs to experience the love of Christ, and to feel safe and valued.
  • For caring, committed staff that can provide daily therapeutic care and supervision.
  • For supporters who are passionate about our ministry and will invest financially to ensure continuation of the therapuetic homes and services.
  • For loving volunteers to participate in events, activities, mentoring roles, and basic needs in the programs.
  • For Texas lawmakers to make the best decisions for Child Welfare and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services as they act to protect children.
  • For families that will make the beautiful sacrifice of opening their homes to children in need.
  • For supernatural protection over each campus, and the Heavenly Hosts to guard and keep watch over the children and staff.
  • That the board and staff will recognize GOD as the owner of this ministry. (Psalm 24:1)
  • That GOD will help Hope Haven of East Texas to be faithful to His Word. (Matthew 5:14)
  • For wisdom and understanding as we navigate the ever-changing Child Welfare System. (Proverbs 24:3-4)
  • That GOD's will be done within the walls of the homes, and within this organization. (I Corinthians 10:31)
